Does Dave Matthews believe in creationism, evolution, or a mixture of both?

im asking just out of curiosity. i noticed that on a live album before they play proudest monkey he says that he likes the idea that we cam from the earth better than the idea that he came from adam and eve. And then i started thinking some of their songs. Like Bartender. i thought that song was talking about God?
