Facebook issues? People have begun ignoring me and a close friend had turned on me and bullied me?

Awww! sweetie, i'm sorry for what you're having to go through. You sound like such a nice, well-rounded, articulate 16 year old. I had something similar happen to me when i went to a new school in the 7th grade. I had always been pretty popular in previous schools, but because this one popular girl did not like me, for whatever reasons, everyone else did not like me either. It took a long time for me to develop some really meaningful friendships. It sounds like one person has caused a whole lot of trouble for you. It's like a snowball effect. If you just ignore them, and continue to be yourself then i believe people will see right through this girl, and they will see that you're a good person after all. Unfortunately, there are a lot of cruel people in this world. But, i did want to point something out. Just like you don't like being labeled due to your disability, you should not label nerds either. They are not bad people like they are depicted to be. Just because the kids at Columbine we're nerds does not mean that most nerds hurt people. So, just be careful in your judgments, okay? But, i really think if you continue to ignore these mean people they will eventually get bored and go away. Don't stop using facebook (something you enjoy) just because of a few bullies. They will feel as though they've won against you if you do. You know in your heart what kind of person you are, so don't let other people define who you are. Be strong! For every bully out there, there is also a kind person who will like you and treat you with dignity and respect. I am sorry that it's really affected your self confidence, but try not to let it, or they've won. You know you are a good person, and nobody else can tell you any different. If it gets to out of hand i would suggest that you go to your school counselor and inform them of what's going on. Maybe they could help you to resolve the whole issue. Most schools take bullying pretty seriously, so they better be careful. I just hope people see the real you, and not listen to this bully.
