Please give me your honest opinion..and please be helpful!

Ok so my 1yr and a half bf.. has lots opprtunities arising..Just a few months ago he went to an interview for his dream job.. got it but eventually refused it, coz it was either the job or his gf.. He chose me, but things never were the same again.. He now has got this 1 yr contract offered to him.. pays very well.. and is conidering it aswell. He promised me that he will never leave me here.. I am just upset cause a i am tired of this.. knowing that injust a week he could be in an other country if he wants to.. It hurts too much. I love him so much. I dont know if I am being selfish coz iwant him by myside, coz i cant imagine myself not seeing him for weeks months or yrs.. or is he being selfish, cause he is not considering us ?
