If the US had not invaded Iraq and ousted Saddam, what would the Middle East look like now?

Why would you think that Saddam would be for Middle East peace, he tried ti ignite war aginst Israel by firing SCuds at them hoping they would retaliate, he invaded his neighbors, his ged his minorities. Yeah, he would be a good candidate for peace maker don't you think. He never made peace in the MIddle East, only war so I cannot understand why you would think that he was peace maker. That like trying to find good things to say about Hitler.
