Wow,where do I start. I know others have similar situations like me, but I have shut my problem out. I have recently noticed how bad it is this summer. I guess because I have so much time off from school. Anyway my mother does drugs, and my undependable family knows. She has so many sibling who could help her and don't, they have too much pride and self-centered. I want to get my mother in a rehab, and told some of my family, they agreed but did not do anything. So as of now I know I have to take action as soon as I get myself settled. I really want to leave where I am currently living. Me & my mother live in my deceased gma's house. There are always obsessively high bills, but my mom ends up paying them off WAY AFTER THE DUE DATE with child support and others money. She is always doing something sneaky and its so noticeable, and she tells me dumb crap. Like 1time, I seen a bottle she been using for drugs and ask her what it was. She said she keeps her daily medication in there. LIE LIE LIE! she knew I knew & did not care. She uses daily and is always negative. I never look forward to coming home, even when i am at school (and u know that's bad,ha). We are always low on food or have none for a period of time. She takes my money/ anything valuable,so now I just don't keep any of it in the house.My friends/clmates don't know I go through crap like this, they think I have a great life. Because I don't show my feelings and don't talk about my problems. I make good grades and dress nice, and stay active. I talk to a counselor,who is so sweet, I love her to death. But I need to take action, enough talking. There are many problems that my mom causes and my family still give her rides to unknown spots and money for madeup things. So they are accessories to her drug supply, but they just want her out their hair.Finally my point is I can't live with my dad period, no uncles or aunts or close cousins. My brother offered me a room, but he has issues (anger issues) and can get physical and controlling. I don't need extra problems. Idk what I should do, don't know where to go. I am 19 and will be going to a community college in Jan., so can leave when i want, but currently interviewing with jobs, so not financially set. I have a family friend, who lives in the same city and she is really nice, will do anything for us. I wrote her a letter explaining the situation and asking to live w/her. But the day I was going to give it to her, I found out she was pregnant and the guy started coming over her house often. I don't think they live 2gether(not sure). But I would believe he's over alot since they have a kid 2gether now. Should I just ask if the guy stays there/ And if he doesn't should I give her the letter. She knows about the problems but never said anything about me moving in(also she is the mother of my nephews,so were close). One of my cousins lives close by and we are close, but he has a GF, shes been living out of town. But she pops up sometimes to visit & i don't want him or her to feel uncomfortable. I have family in NC,but can not live with either of them, but I have another close family friend in NC (who is the mother of my little cousin), but that's about 2 and a half hrs away. I want to go to school, and would not mind going to school down there. But Idk how hard it will be to move all the way down there. Or if I need to fill out paperwork, because I will be living in another state. Plz help.any Advice.

You need to look at what is making you so unhappy. Once you find out what it is, you need to have the courage to change it, because sometimes it's not something you WANT to change, whether it be a really stressful but high-paying job, an abusive relationship, etc. And you need to look into natural anti-depressants, like exercise, sun-light, relaxing more (i.e. a bath instead of a shower, get a mage if you can afford it, call in sick at work, etc) which will help you in the moment. I'm not a specialist so I can't give you more than that, but I hope you get to feeling better. <3

Vista OS hangs at crcdisk.sys?

hello i got a gateway laptop it came with xp tablet i got a vista disk from a friend n loaded vista on it now it wont go past the crcdisk.sys when i try to boot in safemood. if i do normal startup the little green bar just keeps on rolling n rolling nothing happns i tried all the other safeboot options as well but nothing seems to work. now i dont hav the vista disk anymore is there any way to fix this problem . also when i put the xp disk in to restore it it says my harddrive can not be found (saic) harddrive i think i got. anyway to get past this. at this point computer does not load into windows...

17 weeks with pain, please help!?

So I am 17 1/2 weeks, I was sitting down noticed light pain across the front of my adominal area. I moved sat somewhere else. Still something. Decided to go lay down and by the time I got there to lay down, I was bent over in soooo much pain. The pain had moved to my low back as well. It was painful enough I was crying, it only lasted for a solid 10 minutes. The day before about the same time I had an ultrasound to get 4-d pictures, and I am wondering if the probing around had effect. Has anyone had this this early on, PLEASE help! Casual Biker, Looking to Get More Serious With It and Need New Bike?

I've been in the market to purchase a new bicycle, but don't really know to much about serious biking. I've been doing research online and talked to my local bike shop. I know I should be looking for a hybrid. I usually bike 30+ miles a day (looking to increase this to about 50 miles a day) on a 12 year old Wal Mart bike. I usually on roads and smooth to mildly rough trails in a hilly area. The bike shop guy recommended a Specialized Crosstrail. I wanted to know if anyone had any opinions on this bike or any other recommendations. I want to try to keep it under $500 if I can. Thanks guys.

Are contact lenses very hard to wear and get used to?

Wearing contacts will NOT hurt as long as you don't sleep in them or wear them for long hours. Always keep them moist when not in use using solution and get some eye drops made for contacts. Oh, and make sure you're putting them in the right way. When you go get contacts, the optometrist or whoever is helping you will teach you how to put them on correctly and everything. There's nothing to worry about. Some people even say that when they wore contacts, their eyes didn't get worse as fast as when they wore gles. I'm not sure about that though.

Kangaroo vs. Synthetic?

both are very good. i am currently in a pair of synthetic pumas but thats just me. it is a very hard decision. kangaroo molds to your foot so well but takes a while to actually mold. but the synthetic leather is very light and i didn't notice much difference. in molding to your foot. also there are a pair of ronaldinhos that i used indoors this year that were fanominal. they are half synthetic and halfkangaroo leather. they molded very well and were superlight. any of his shoes have this feature. but give it a try!

Help! I inherited an eel and can't get him to eat!?

I inherited an eel (about 12 inches long... he looks a lot like a moray) and a bunch of cichlids. The cichlids are doing great, but I can't get the eel to eat. I have tried frozen krill (thawed of course), frozen silversides (thawed as well), and I even tried salad shrimp from Wal-Mart. I have tried giving it to him whole and cut up too. Live food is out of the question as the cichlids devour it before the eel even has a chance to see it. The previous owner gave me a tool to feed the eel with. He told me to grab the food with it and put it in front of the eel while feeding the other fish on the other side of the tank. He said that the eel takes the food right off the tool. He did tell me to make sure to let go right away once he grabbed the food because he would thrash about and get pretty violent. I can't get a hold of the last owner as he moved out of state and I can't get the poor guy to eat anything. I know he isn't eating the other fish in the aquarium because nobody else is missing. He hides a lot, but is also active at times when he thinks we aren't watching. Any advice? I really don't want to kill him! Thanks.

My computer will not recognize my CD ROM?

My computer will not recognize my CD ROM drive (the D drive). For example: when I put a disc into the CD drive, the mouse pointer briefly changes to a CD icon (as it normally does) to tell me -- presumably -- that the drive is scanning the disc for its Table Of Contents. However, the CD icon only appears for a split second (when normally it would take a few seconds to read the contents). When I double-click on the D drive to run the CD, it prompts me to 'Please insert disc into Drive D', when in fact there is already a disc in the drive. Can you tell me why this might be happening? I got married at twenty got pregnant two months later then started college in my first trimester. It was challenging balancing being a newlywed, the doctors visits and homework. It was also very challenging sitting in cl with constant fatigue and back aches. I managed to continue with school until I was 37 weeks pregnant. Then I continued school again while my mom babysat. Just seven weeks after my daughter was born I got pregnant again. Boy was that a shocker! So not only did I have to juggle a new marriage and new baby, but also another pregnancy and school. It was hard, very hard! The entire time I was in school I was thinking about my daughter. I continued with school until my second daughter was born two months premature. With the stress of being in the hospital I quit school. Then with added stress of my husband losing his job I never went back. Hopefully I'll go back in spring term. I have just a few more cles to take to get my ociates. Having kids while in college definitely makes things harder and for me it has taken twice as long to get my degree as for someone without children. I'm glad I went to college though. It taught me a lot.

The tank is not overcrowded. Tetras are mildly aggresive. So are the majority of your fish except for your angelfish and your mollys. those are the two types you have to worry about with the other fish. All of your fish are not highly aggresive though and i would say try it, especially in a large tank like you have. Even it out though, fish swim in packs. Just get more of the weaker fish, like the angels, and they will group together. Hope I helped

It is difficult to find someone who will take responsibility and do a good job at the less glamors and rewarding part of the operation. Probably a bad but true ogy is a mother who runs the household and does all the necessary mundane tasks while everyone does the fun stuff. Once she is in that position no one is interested in changing things. In my opinion your best chance of changing your situation is to talk with field director. You are right not to want to come off as complaining, but you must be ertive enough to express your goals ask for her help in transitioning from administrative duties to vet nurse. You did a good job of explaining your situation in your yahoo question, keep the same professional tone when talking with your field director and you should do fine. Maybe you can make an appointment for lunch or some other private venue during her next visit. If she does not react positively or says there is nothing she can do, your only other option is to start looking for a position with another vet. Are Firstsource Advantage practices a violation of my credit rights?

I received a letter from Firstsource Advantage LLC on 3-9-09 stating I owed an amount slightly in excess of 2000 on an account that had been placed with them. I called to get explanation, they told me it was on an account which I had owned with Dell from about 6 years ago. I told them I did agree the account was mine, but the amount owed did not sound correct, and I would like verification. They told me to send a letter requesting this, and I did so. This was all done within 10 days of receiving the initial letter. I also asked if they would extend the deadline (3-21-09) for the settlement payment amount until this was resolved, and they agreed to do so. I sent letter certified, so after I received delivery receipt I promptly called Firstsource to find out what the status was on my dispute (bear in mind, this all happened before the end of March). I was informed they had transfered the information to Dell to request my information, and they would call me once they had received a response from Dell. In the meantime, I went out and applied and received a loan to pay off this debt. Then, when I still had not heard anything back, I called Firstsource again. They informed me they had transferred my account to legal status on 3-24-09 in response to a cease and desist I had sent (which is not what I sent!). I argued with them, stating all the facts I just laid out, to which the manager said "You know, I think you're just afraid to get sued so now you're trying to blame this on us". So basically, I called Dell, who said the account was now with a different company. 3 COMPANIES LATER I find out its with a lawyer "Mapother & Mapother", whom I finally was able to contact today and they said if I do not pay them 1800 by Thursday they will sue me and garnish my wages. This is close to 1000 more than the settlement amount I was originally offered and is outside my realm of possibility as far as payoffs go. I don't want to have my wages garnished and go through all a legal mess, but I really feel like I'm being screwed here! Was Firstsource within their rights to do all this without so much as a phone call or a letter to let me know they were suing me? Especially since I had contacted them immediately upon receiving the first letter and informed them of my intent to take care of this matter? I need help! I don't know who to contact first or really what to say, and I don't want to make an *** of myself, but I want to get this taken care of!

Lifes about to change big time....personal stories,help,advice?

Well let's start off with a little background info. I'm 17 female and live in a Christian home....my dads a minister. Many probably already have their umption about to what the problem is. Well. I'm gay. Ive always felt nothing for guys..i just went with it cause that's What i was taught what was right. But I've never really felt that way. Of course i feel guilt and can be a little depressed at times about this but that's another problem not as pressing as this one and I'm a strong enough person that I'm going to be ok. Anyways. I'm in love. I know what your thinking your young and foolish dont worry it'll p but this is no teen age bullshit...this is real. I love this young woman and she loves me. Luckily we go to a highschool Tht is very excepting of gay teens (students not teachers in general) so i can be open as i want. But at the same time she can't be because shes not ready for one and people Tht attend her church could find out (also i too have to be slightly carefully cause a few people from my church are also there)....some of are friends know and are completely supporting but as of now we still have to be secretive like we have been for the last year and a month we've been together. My problem is the future. We've talked about us together in the future and it just looks like it won't work...i love her too much to let her throw her life away for me. She would be completely hated by her family...as will part of mine. ( i realized overtime they might except me but it's not likely... It would be more like they would "tolerate me") how am I going to recover from the eminent heartbreak I'll have come end of senior year next year....how am I going to move on. I know u may think shes truly not in love with you if she's not willing to risk it all for you but don't knock her. I had always been pretty popular in previous schools, but because this one popular girl did not like me, for whatever reasons, everyone else did not like me either. It took a long time for me to develop some really meaningful friendships. It sounds like one person has caused a whole lot of trouble for you. It's like a snowball effect. If you just ignore them, and continue to be yourself then i believe people will see right through this girl, and they will see that you're a good person after all. Unfortunately, there are a lot of cruel people in this world. But, i did want to point something out. Just like you don't like being labeled due to your disability, you should not label nerds either. They are not bad people like they are depicted to be. Just because the kids at Columbine we're nerds does not mean that most nerds hurt people. So, just be careful in your judgments, okay? But, i really think if you continue to ignore these mean people they will eventually get bored and go away. Don't stop using facebook (something you enjoy) just because of a few bullies. They will feel as though they've won against you if you do. You know in your heart what kind of person you are, so don't let other people define who you are. Be strong! For every bully out there, there is also a kind person who will like you and treat you with dignity and respect. I am sorry that it's really affected your self confidence, but try not to let it, or they've won. You know you are a good person, and nobody else can tell you any different. If it gets to out of hand i would suggest that you go to your school counselor and inform them of what's going on. Maybe they could help you to resolve the whole issue. My son was 3 weeks on tuesday, up til now he usually eats about 2.5 to 3.5 ounces every 3 hours. However in the last couple of days he is eating every two hours, and eating almost 3.5 ounces every time! Yesterday he ate almost 30 ounces in 24 hours. He was only 6lbs 10 ozs at birth, but has been putting on weight steadily. Is this normal, do you think he's having a growth spurt? I'm just worried about his little tummy getting too full. Thanks!

Will one day with a stray kitten infest me and my dog?

Okay. Yesterday afternoon my family and I saw a stray kitten in after calling the shelter to come pick her up. Once inside, it seemed like she had some sort of breathing problem. My mother said she was just purring, but it seemed much more to that to me. Later on, we started feeding her. He belly became somewhat bloated. Now, I've done some reading which said this can occur when animals have worms or when they eat too fast. Also, the kitten did not use the bathroom while she was here. She mostly just laid on my bed. Now, about my dog. I have a very tiny dog and she seemed very curious about the kitten. I kept them about to be on the safe side. When the kitten left, I changed the quilt the kitten was laying on and my sisters and I repeatedly washed our hands. Is there anything I should worry about?

Because many markers are present in large parts of the population, it's hard to say X is the father. X may have identical siblings of the same gender that would have the identical markers. They would not be excluded. Also, the grandparents would all fit into the gene pool, with most of the markers present as well. Nuns and Priests as teachers aren't generally well liked and easy to get along with. People don't like to be forced to do much, and Nuns/Priests require strict obedience to not only their rules, but the rules of the church, and many teens attending Catholic schools can grow to resent the heavy strictness. Plus, the teaching, when you really get into it, doesn't make that much sense, and those that turn against it have "looked outside the box" as it where.

Yes and no. There is a climate control system in the M1A1 and an improved system in the M1A2, but they aren't really effective on a comfort level. According to tankers I've met, It'll keep the temperature from reaching unsafe levels but you're still going to sweat a lot. The largest reason for cooling in the Abrams is for the benefit of the electronics on board. It's got some pretty awesome electronics for targeting and those systems need to be kept moderately cool to prevent wear and damage. Get any computer too hot and it'll fail. Unfortunately, in many cases keeping the computers comfortable is more important than keeping the people happy. So basically, specs say that our tanks have air conditioning but it isn't like the A/C in your car that you can turn up and chill out with. Military vehicles typically just don't carry comfort as a high priority. I think it would be great to get some more cooling in, but engineers argue about increased weight, room for added equipment, electric supply, etc.

The Fall and spring are the best time to head to the Vineyard, that way all the little shops are open and there aren't too many people around. Summer time can get almost too crowded there and it gets overwhelming. Jimmy Seas is a great restaraunt there, a little expensive it is located in Oak Bluffs, I believe. I haven't been to the Vineyard in a few years, so I could be wrong. Enjoy your stay there though, it really is beautiful. As for cheap places to stay, I don't think anything on the Vineyard is "cheap", check with some bed and breakfasts, that is probably the cheapest way to see the Vineyard.
